About The Brambles
The Brambles is a family-owned and operated residential and day support facility for intellectually and physically disabled adults.
It started as a labor of love more than a decade ago. Today, The Brambles owns and operates ten private group homes near Urbanna, including a day support center.
Our professional, caring staff prides ourselves on offering a real home for our residents and a place that feels like home for members of our day support facility.

All of the group homes at The Brambles are custom built-in residential neighborhoods to provide an authentic home environment. Handicap-accessibility, private bedrooms, large kitchens, and pristine bathrooms are features you’ll find in all of our professionally decorated and fully-furnished homes.
Beyond providing a comfortable environment, we ensure that residents receive the services needed to thrive including positive behavior support, social skills development, dietary support, personal hygiene skills, health maintenance, and monitoring, and more.
Day Support Center Serving Urbanna
If your loved one only needs support during the day, our Day Support Center presents the perfect balance of intellectual disability services and fun.
The newly-expanded Day Support Center offers two activity rooms to explore a variety of interests such as arts and crafts and games. It also includes bathing facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fenced courtyard to participate in outdoor activities safely.
With a 1:3 staff to member ratio, our goal is to provide every individual with the care necessary so that they can enjoy their day with us.
To ease the transition between home and The Brambles, we take care of day round-trip transportation for our members.
